Nissan has always prioritized safety and comfort in its vehicles, and auto experts are taking note of its family-friendly features, like space to accommodate child car seats. In the Cars.com 2021 Car Seat Fit Report Card, the 2021 Sentra earned straight A’s, proving it’s a great option for your family’s travels.
In the Car Seat Check from Cars.com, the 2021 Sentra took the top grade in evaluations of the vehicle’s latch system and how it accommodates four types of child seats — rear-facing convertible, forward-facing convertible, infant, and booster.
Cars.com writer Jennifer Newman called the 2021 Nissan Sentra a “budget-friendly option for small families.”
Only four vehicles, including the 2021 Sentra, earned A’s across the board on the Cars.com 2021 Car Seat Fit Report Card. In total, the Cars.com experts tested 51 family vehicles.
“What serves as icing on the cake is that the other three vehicles called out by Cars.com Honor Roll are larger vehicles,” said Jared Haslam, vice president, Product and Services Planning, Nissan U.S. and Canada. “Not all car seats fit in all vehicles and choosing the appropriate child restraint system can be confusing. We appreciate Cars.com bringing attention to this important issue.”
