The Parents Magazine Best Family Cars of 2021 list has a distinctly Nissan look to it. The 2021 Nissan Rogue, Pathfinder and Maxima were each included on this annual roundup of great vehicles for families.
The 2021 Nissan Rogue took the Best Redesign category. The all-new Rogue offers four-door Intelligent Key entry, wireless phone charging, and tri-zone climate control that allows rear seat passengers to set the preferred temperature. One of the favorite features were the rear doors that open almost 90 degrees, making car seat installation and passenger access much easier for parents in Columbus, Mississippi.
Top in Towing
The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder was named Best for Towing. This redesign will be available in the summer or 2021 and offers up to 6,000 pounds of towing power so you can hook up a small camper or boat for some summer fun in and around Columbus.
The 2021 Nissan Maxima was recognized as the Best Sporty Car, proving that you don’t have to give up style in a family car. The four-door Maxima sedan is offered in a 40th Anniversary Edition this year.
All of these Nissan vehicles come with standard Nissan Safety Shield® 360, a collection of six driver safety features and alerts with your family in mind. The 2021 Rogue and Maxima have also been named Top Safety Picks by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The 2022 Pathfinder is not yet eligible for ratings.
