Nissan recently kicked off its all-new “Rogue Goes Rogue” marketing campaign, and it features a face you may be familiar with — Academy Award-winning actress and Emmy Award-winning producer Brie Larson. But her partnership with Nissan will extend far beyond appearing in commercials for the all-new 2021 Rogue.
According to a press release from Nissan, Larson signed a multi-year deal that will see her taking on a wide range of duties associated with the 2021 Rogue. I addition to acting in numerous ad spots, her new role as Brand Ambassador will see her contributing to multiple creative campaigns, taking part in dealer events, and bringing awareness to educational programming developed by the Nissan Foundation.
In a statement about Larson’s expanded role, Nissan’s vice president and chief marketing officer Allyson Witherspoon, said, “Brie embodies the Nissan spirit in her desire to challenge the status quo off-screen and her ability to bring thrill and excitement to on-screen roles. When we previously worked with Brie on the Sentra campaign, she brought a unique point of view to the creative during the production process, advocating for diversity and inclusivity, which aligns with her interest in supporting the work of the Nissan Foundation.”
Bringing a well-known actress closely associated with exciting roles like Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes perfect sense when you consider the fun-to-drive nature of the all-new 2021 Nissan Rogue.
